Kia ora koutou

This week, we were delighted to welcome Year 8 students from our local primary schools as they begin to look ahead to their college journey in 2026. Over the course of three days, more than 400 students visited us, and it has been a pleasure to showcase all that Paraparaumu College has to offer. It was especially heartening to see so many of our current students speaking proudly about their own experiences at PC and supporting activities across the different subject areas the Year 8s explored.

Financial literacy took centre stage as they chatted with the Minister of Finance about the basics of budgeting, reinvesting profits, and understanding the value of connections and customer service.
