Teacher of Supported Learning


We are a highly successful coeducational school situated on the beautiful Kāpiti Coast. Due to refreshment leave we are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate additional teacher - learning support to join an innovative and highly successful department. Ideally you will have some experience, as a teacher, supporting neuro-diverse and/or ORS funded learners, who require additional support to access the curriculumYou will be working with a fabulous team including our HOLA Learning Support, Acting HOD Supported Learning and experienced and dedicated teacher aides. As a PB4L school we are seeking someone who works to establish positive learning relationships with students and values restorative practices in the way they work. A number of our supported learning students are working at lower curriculum levels so we would welcome applications from both primary and secondary  trained teachers.
