In week four of term two, many of our Year 11 - 13 students will be sitting their NCEA corequisite literacy and numeracy assessments. These assessments are an important part of students’ overall NCEA level certificates and they will have been informed if they are required to sit one of these assessments during this week. 

In order for us to create the space for our students to sit these assessments, as well as to free up the necessary staff to facilitate them, we are going to roster two year groups to learn from home. 

Tuesday 20th May - Year 13 students learning from home

Wednesday 21st May - Year 11 students learning from home

If Year 11 or 13 students have their corequisite assessments to sit on those days that they are rostered home, they need to attend their corequisite from 11:05am - 1:35pm. Rooms for assessments will be confirmed in early term two. 

Classroom teachers will make sure that all students have classwork shared with them on their Google Classroom that they can complete while learning from home.
