Derived Grade Exams start on Thursday 4 September. These are a great opportunity for students to demonstrate the progress they have made in preparation for the NCEA exams in November. They also provide a grade that can be used as a derived grade if the student is unable to sit a NCEA exam in November.
Students should be at the exam room by 9 am for morning exams (8.50 am if their exam is in the auditorium) and 1 pm for afternoon exams (12.50 pm if their exam is in the auditorium). Students should sit all of their scheduled exams. If they are unable to attend an exam due to illness, they should notify either their teacher or the school office.
There are no scheduled classes for Year 11 to 13 students while Derived Grade Exams are on (Thursday 4 September to Thursday 11 September).
Good luck to all our Year 11 to 13 students as they prepare to sit these exams.
