Major Production
In June 2026 we will be doing a show that is both a school Arts Extravaganza and a Musical. The first half of the show will be performances from our School Groups, and the second half will be a shortened version of the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat!

Interhouse Talent Quest
Our four school houses put forward 2 acts to compete againest eachother for House Points. This is organised by the Arts and House Captains.
Date for the 2026 event is Friday 7th August
2025 winners were:
3rd place representing Te-Wai-o-Rongomai was Isaac
2nd place representing Te Ake Tarewa was Eliot, Dylan, and Lukas
1st place was equal! Well done to both Olivia from Maungakotukutuku and Shekayna from Te-Pae-o-Whaitiri.
Staff vs Student Dance Off
Each year our Staff and Student Leadership Team battle it out on the dance floor! This is usually held at lunchtime on the last day of Term 3 and attracts a huge crowd. The Student Leaders perform the dance first, then the staff, then they do a dance routine together. The judges deliberate and a winner is selected. All of our past dance videos can be found on the school Facebook page.

Arts Hakari Awards Evening
The Arts Hakari evening was the first of its kind in 2025. We wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate the huge achievements and talents we have in our school's arts groups. The evening was filled with performances and awards, with guest speaker Cohen Holloway.

The Juior House Haka Competition is a chance for all four houses to perform our School Haka (Ko Taku Kāreti) and earn house points.

Was held on Friday the 28th November 2025 in the School Auditorium

✨Solo Instrumental Section: 1st Place Olivia for both her piano and violin pieces, 2nd Place Stephen on Piano, 3rd Place Callum on Guitar.
✨Solo/Duet Vocal Section: 1st Place Manaia
✨Group Music: 1st Place Olivia, Maite, and Lucas
✨Dance Section: 1st Place Violet and Sienna
